Specialist Clinical Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services across oncology and acute care
• Support the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical pharmacy services
• Act as a clinical role model and contribute to the supervision and teaching of pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff
• Support implementation and optimisation of medicine management systems
• Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and protocol/guideline implementation

Requirements

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• BPharm, MPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate clinical qualification (e.g., Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy)
• Acute hospital experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oncology and/or acute medicine
• Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS)
