Specialist Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions in adult patients
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations, follow-up care, and treatment planning
• Interpret and report diagnostic investigations such as ECGs, echocardiography, and ambulatory monitoring
• Support acute cardiac care in collaboration with emergency, ICU, and internal medicine teams
• Participate in on-call duties in line with service requirements
• Work closely with consultant cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice

Requirements

• Board-certified Specialist Cardiologist or equivalent qualification
• Solid experience in managing both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Eligibility for DOH Specialist licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work within a consultant-led service model
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
