Specialist Building Management & Structural Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient building management, including maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, winter services, and space planning
• Independently comply with all legal operator obligations for buildings, facilities, and technical installations
• Organize, manage, and document recurring inspections, such as fire protection equipment
• Assume contractor duties regarding fire protection (per DGUV), including coordination and implementation
• Plan and execute maintenance, new construction, and renovation projects
• Create specifications for economic procurement and coordinate external service providers
• Collaborate with authorities, fire departments, and insurance companies
• Develop and maintain escape and rescue plans and evacuation concepts
• Contribute to future-oriented site development, such as energy-efficient usage

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Facility Management, or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in Facility Management or Building Management
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
• Good English language skills
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• High level of responsibility and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAD software
• Experience in fire protection or operator responsibility
• Qualification as a contractor coordinator (or willingness to undergo further training)
