Specialist, Bar Preparation

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director of Bar Exam Preparation to develop, coordinate, and implement initiatives to improve bar passage rates.
• Deliver bar preparation programming and individualized support to online students and Flight Path Program students.
• Manage student data and records, tracking program participation and outcomes across multiple cohorts.
• Plan and coordinate programming while maintaining collaborative relationships with colleagues and students.
• Manage concurrent responsibilities across both in-person and online delivery formats.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admission to the practice of law.
• Admission by examination in at least one jurisdiction.
• Experience teaching, coaching, supervising, or mentoring students or emerging professionals.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with programs designed to improve bar passage performance for law graduates.
• Experience supporting at-risk, non-traditional, or distance learners in a legal education context.
• Two years of experience in education or bar review (academic assistance, advising, or similar).
• Proficiency with online learning management systems and virtual advising platforms.
