About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer-facing technical expertise to support the application, qualification, and commercialization of lubricant additive products
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and product line teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Support the development of commercial proposals, including price recommendations and technical input for RFQs and tenders
  • Deliver technical presentations and seminars to customers
  • Monitor OEM requirements, industry trends, and specifications to assess implications for product offerings
  • Manage customer-specific technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with product strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • Multiple years of experience in customer-facing technical support, applications engineering, or a technical-commercial role
  • Proven ability to engage customers directly and deliver value-driven technical solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the lubricant additives or lubricants industry (engine oils, driveline, or hydraulic applications)
  • Experience working with integrated oil companies, additive suppliers, or in OEM-facing technical roles
  • Familiarity with OEM lubricant specifications, approvals, and qualification processes
  • Proficiency in Spanish in addition to English
  • Project management training or certification
