Specialist 2, Construction

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of cables and poles for overhead and underground construction
• Monitor project records, including start dates, milestones, material costs, and labor expenditures
• Enforce work site safety standards through regular compliance visits and meetings
• Manage resources such as vehicles, equipment, and inventory to ensure proper working order
• Support project coordination by developing cost estimates, monitoring job costs, and controlling budgets
• Generate detailed logs and reports regarding construction progress, materials, and expenditures
• Manage subcontractors and interface with officials and industry representatives
• Conduct field surveys and post-construction reviews to ensure project accuracy
• Address customer requests and complaints with timely follow-up and resolution

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in construction or related fields
• Experience with the supervision of cable and pole installation
• Proven ability in project coordination and budget monitoring
• Strong commitment to enforcing safety compliance and standards
• Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience at Comcast
• Experience with project management or program initiatives
• CT4 certification or above
