Special Servicing/SCRA Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized customer service to active-duty military members by managing SCRA accounts and applying interest rate caps.
• Act as a liaison between borrowers and other business lines to prevent improper collection actions and protect against repossession.
• Handle customer inquiries via telephone and email within established timeframes while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Document all account activities accurately and clearly in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Evaluate accounts to identify potential loss situations and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Review legal documents for accuracy and completeness and follow up with counsel regarding deadlines.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work a fixed schedule: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Central Time (Monday–Thursday) and 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time (Friday).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and internet-based applications.
• Basic typing and data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in financial services or a similar industry.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Experience with skip tracing and persuasive negotiation.
• Ability to multi-task and manage complex problem-solving tasks.
