Special Security Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) with SCI access control, security briefings, indoctrinations, and debriefings
• Manage SCI visitor clearances and process eligibility requests for military, Government, and contractor personnel
• Serve as a Controlled Access Program (CAP) security specialist to implement protocols that reduce risks of espionage and unauthorized disclosure
• Develop and integrate CAP program protection requirements for essential technologies, operations, and systems
• Act as a subject matter expert on DoD, IC, and mission partner CAP, SAP, and SAR policies and procedures
• Conduct audits of classified material and inspections of SCIFs and storage containers
• Train and manage personnel on individual program protection requirements and processes

Requirements

• Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
• Ability to obtain a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience
• At least eight years of relevant security experience
