Special Projects Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables while creating comprehensive project plans with detailed timelines and milestones.
• Act as the central point of contact between internal teams and external partners.
• Identify necessary resources and manage project-specific budgets to prevent cost overruns.
• Maintain project documentation, prepare progress reports, and manage data entry in software such as Maximo and PeopleSoft.
• Proactively identify project risks or blockers and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of experience in project coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance or Base Clearance Access.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
