Special Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning, polishing, deburring, and pressure testing hardware to ensure parts meet manufacturing standards.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, and other irregularities from machined parts according to engineering blueprints.
• Manufacture and test parts in accordance with engineering and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on operated machines and equipment.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the cellular manufacturing work area.
• Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless team transitions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in cleaning, polishing, deburring, or pressure testing hardware.
• Ability to read and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull weights of 60 lbs.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required.
