About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning, polishing, deburring, and pressure testing hardware to ensure parts meet manufacturing standards.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, and other irregularities from machined parts according to engineering blueprints.
- Manufacture and test parts in accordance with engineering and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on operated machines and equipment.
- Clean, organize, and maintain the cellular manufacturing work area.
- Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless team transitions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in cleaning, polishing, deburring, or pressure testing hardware.
- Ability to read and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull weights of 60 lbs.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required.
