Special Procedures Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized heart cath and vascular exams on pediatric patients of all ages
• Utilize fluoroscopy, surgical C-arm, and portable equipment to produce quality diagnostic films
• Function as a diagnostic technologist in the absence of special procedures
• Educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed within the department
• Participate in the hospital-wide infection control program
• Work with student technologists to ensure a positive learning experience during clinical rotations
• Maintain on-call availability to meet departmental needs, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Registration in Radiography
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license in X-ray
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced registry in Cardiovascular Technology (CVT)
