Special Parts Machining - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Machine parts according to engineering and tool design drawings, sketches, and verbal requests
• Read part prints and perform basic trigonometry functions and machine shop calculations
• Create fixtures to hold parts during the machining process
• Interpret manufacturing prints and work order packets
• Complete required work center forms and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math skills, including trigonometry and machine shop calculations
• Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 lbs safely
• Ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related machining experience or training
• Detailed training in CNC machine operation
• Previous experience with Trax type machines
