Requirements

• Fluency in speaking and writing English
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR a Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of substantial experience in financial matters and investigating financial crimes
• Twelve years' experience in criminal investigation work as a sworn police officer in the State of New York
• Thorough knowledge of applicable NYS statutes, court decisions, and administrative rulings
• Skill in ascertaining facts by personal contact, observation, and examination of financial records
• Ability to testify effectively in court
• Ability to prepare detailed reports
