Requirements
- Fluency in speaking and writing English
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR a Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of substantial experience in financial matters and investigating financial crimes
- Twelve years' experience in criminal investigation work as a sworn police officer in the State of New York
- Thorough knowledge of applicable NYS statutes, court decisions, and administrative rulings
- Skill in ascertaining facts by personal contact, observation, and examination of financial records
- Ability to testify effectively in court
- Ability to prepare detailed reports
