Special Events Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution, servicing, and detailing of assigned events once booked
• Act as a primary liaison between clients, the sales department, and operations teams
• Supervise operational set-up and breakdown, including equipment and rental needs
• Coordinate with the production department on all event-specific requirements
• Provide administrative support to the Special Events Sales Team and maintain departmental files
• Conduct event pre-shift meetings to communicate specifics to operations managers and staff
• Manage accounting functions including processing deposits, tracking payments, and handling accounts receivable
• Ensure proper settlement and payment on the night of events using POS systems
• Manage staff hours to ensure alignment with established budgets

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database management
• Basic mathematical skills for handling payments and budgeting
• Entry-level knowledge of restaurant and music hall operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
