Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality, compliance, and overall effectiveness of special education programming across all IDS locations
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations (IDEA, PDE) and maintain audit readiness across programs
- Lead and manage the full IEP lifecycle, including evaluations, goal development, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Provide instructional leadership by aligning curriculum, IEP goals, and evidence-based practices
- Analyze student data and progress monitoring to drive decision-making and continuous program improvement
- Coach and support staff while partnering with district leaders and families to ensure strong outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in special education
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, Human Services, or a related field
- Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate or Supervisor of Special Education Certificate
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, PA Department of Education regulations, PA School Code, and FERPA
- Demonstrated experience with IEP development, implementation, and compliance oversight
- Ability to travel regularly to district sites and IDS locations
