About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Dean of Students to enhance the student experience through inclusive programming, services, and policies
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing empathetic support and de-escalation when necessary
- Manage highly sensitive and confidential student service records with sound judgment
- Support complex crises and triage student concerns effectively under pressure
- Assist with key events and programs, including Graduation and First-Year Student Orientation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of four years of experience in education administration or a related field
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven interpersonal and de-escalation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education, social work, or a related discipline
- Experience in a law school, professional school, or graduate-level academic environment
- Experience with event planning for professional audiences
- Intercultural experience with a focus on supporting diverse backgrounds
- Experience leveraging technology or Artificial Intelligence to improve administrative efficiency
