About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Dean of Students to enhance the student experience through inclusive programming, services, and policies
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing empathetic support and de-escalation when necessary
  • Manage highly sensitive and confidential student service records with sound judgment
  • Support complex crises and triage student concerns effectively under pressure
  • Assist with key events and programs, including Graduation and First-Year Student Orientation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of four years of experience in education administration or a related field
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and de-escalation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education, social work, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a law school, professional school, or graduate-level academic environment
  • Experience with event planning for professional audiences
  • Intercultural experience with a focus on supporting diverse backgrounds
  • Experience leveraging technology or Artificial Intelligence to improve administrative efficiency
