About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the university Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
  • Design and lead accreditation project implementation and report development for required accreditation cycles.
  • Prepare HLC Substantive Change Applications for new academic program approvals or program changes.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with institutional accreditation standards and related reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accreditation analytics and documentation systems to support university and programmatic compliance.
  • Serve as an accreditation content expert for specialized projects across various colleges (e.g., CODA, ACPE, LCME, ARC-AA).
  • Manage university files and data within the HLC Canopy System and oversee the Institutional Accreditation budget index.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in higher education administration, institutional research, assessment, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in institutional or specialized accreditation roles.
  • Proven expertise in designing and analyzing accreditation reporting and assessment frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in managing long-term projects involving complex concepts and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of organizational functions and resources within a post-secondary health professions institution.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, including mentoring senior-level professional staff.
  • Basic understanding of digital survey platforms and tools.
