Special Assistant, Bureau of Office of Chief Medical Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct outcome and impact evaluations of CMO Office programs related to provider engagement and public health services
• Collect primary data and provider communication analytics for the Agency's Quality Performance Report
• Assist with research, literature reviews, and memos regarding anti-racist public health practices
• Support the CMO and Deputy CMO with meeting coordination, document review, and follow-up activities
• Manage goal gathering and reporting projects including publication tracking
• Coordinate and lead staff to create, refine, and organize deliverables and metrics using a racial equity lens
• Maintain organizational systems to manage information flow within the CMO Office

Requirements

• Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science, or public health
• Experience in research, data interpretation, and reporting
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to apply project management strategies and work independently
• Proficiency in reviewing scientific literature

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying a racial equity lens to public health work
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in social determinants of health or chronic disease prevention
