About the role
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate product designs and bills of materials (BOMs) to identify failure modes and develop recommended spare parts lists
- Evaluate supplier production activities for compliance with manufacturing guidelines, quality processes, and standards
- Monitor field performance metrics and collaborate with Procurement and Suppliers to prioritize issues and drive performance improvements
- Support field failure escalations, including part identification, spare part availability, and alternate part sourcing
- Execute technical regulatory and conformity requirements (e.g., CCC, CEL, KC/KCC, NOM, ISO/IEC) for products and spare parts
- Support regulatory applicability assessments and compliance readiness for NPI, engineering changes, and regional expansions
- Partner with Global Trade Compliance, Logistics, and Regional Operations to resolve compliance-related shipment issues or customs holds
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing) or Supply Chain Management
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive experience with BOM management systems (e.g., Windchill) and change management processes
- Working knowledge of international technical regulations and conformity programs (e.g., CE, CCC, KC/KCC, NOM, ISO/IEC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct reviews of material specifications and hardware designs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and management
