Spanish Language Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, dynamic, and engaging in-person Spanish (ELE) lessons to a beginner-level adult student
• Develop customized curricula focused on practical communication, business interactions, and cultural integration
• Monitor student progress and guide the learner toward specific goals, such as participating in meetings and social settings
• Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner regarding lesson planning and progress

Requirements

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Spanish
• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of Spanish (ELE) teaching experience
• Ability to provide in-person lessons at the student's home in San Sebastián (near Plaza Gipuzkoa)
• Availability to conduct one 60-minute session per week during various daytime or evening slots

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching business professionals or adults
• Ability to implement interactive, pressure-free learning methods such as games and speaking-focused activities
• Interest in incorporating cultural topics like food, travel, and social customs into lessons
