Spanish Language Instructor

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging one-to-one Spanish lessons tailored to a beginner adult student.
• Focus on fundamental conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Adapt teaching methods and pace based on the student's evolving needs and learning style.
• Maintain professional communication with the student and the project manager.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish as a second language, preferably in a one-to-one setting.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and usage.
• Ability to create personalized and engaging lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a student-centered approach.
• Availability for in-person lessons in Polanco, Mexico City (ideally Thursdays for 90 minutes).

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent teaching credentials.
