About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities for satellite and spacecraft development projects
  • Conduct structural assembly including component installation, mechanical fastening, bonding, and precision alignment
  • Integrate avionics systems, electronic components, sensors, and wiring harnesses
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Perform system-level functional tests including electrical continuity, power distribution, and sensor verification
  • Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure adherence to dimensional requirements
  • Participate in environmental testing such as thermal vacuum, vibration, and shock testing
  • Support the development of assembly procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly activities and test results

Requirements

  • U.S. Person status required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in satellite or spacecraft assembly and integration
  • Expertise in aerospace structures, avionics integration, and harnessing
  • Proficiency in precision assembly techniques and mechanical fastening
  • Strong understanding of aerospace electrical systems and wiring harnesses
  • Experience conducting system-level functional tests and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with environmental testing methods (thermal vacuum, vibration, shock)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
