Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware designed for manufacturing. The company aims to provide humankind access to the galaxy by enabling earth observation, communications, and more.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support component and system-level functional and performance testing
- Develop, review, and approve system-level test procedures and success criteria
- Analyze test data and lead anomaly investigation and resolution
- Implement opportunities for test automation and equipment upgrades
- Maintain verification artifacts, test reports, and compliance documentation
- Support qualification, acceptance, and flight readiness reviews
- Collaborate with production, test, quality, and vehicle engineering teams
- Communicate system status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and customers
Requirements
- US person status
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with system integration, test, and qualification
- Strong understanding of satellite subsystems and system-level interactions
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior flight hardware and/or ground testbed (e.g., FlatSat) experience
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methods (fishbone diagrams, fault trees, etc.)
- Experience operating in a production or high-rate environment
