Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on in-process products and finished goods using appropriate tools and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to verify product compliance
• Document and report quality issues, non-conformances, and inspection results accurately
• Perform root cause analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain quality inspection tools and equipment
• Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards
• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements
• Monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of experience in quality control/inspection in the aerospace industry
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and multimeters
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
