About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project for multiple concurrent spacecraft programs
- Build and manage detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)-linked schedules from proposal through program execution
- Establish and maintain schedule baseline and control changes in accordance with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Prepare and deliver schedule status reports, integrated program reviews (IPRs), and milestone briefings for customers
- Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), and float trending
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and test teams to validate schedule logic
- Support proposal teams with schedule basis of estimate (BOE) development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program scheduling for U.S. government space or defense programs
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project, including resource loading and critical path analysis
- Demonstrated experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex hardware programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with spacecraft AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) scheduling and launch campaign planning
- Proficiency with Primavera P6
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience on EVMS-compliant programs
- Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience on satellite programs for DoD, civil, or commercial space customers
