About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly of primary and secondary structures, including sheet metal panels and machined parts
  • Route, install, and inspect avionics and power harnesses
  • Install electro-mechanical components, mechanisms, and propulsion hardware
  • Support propulsion system integration and high-pressure operations
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, test, quality, and design engineering to resolve hardware issues
  • Follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures using MES systems
  • Support cleanroom activities including payload integration and functional testing
  • Practice 5S principles to maintain an efficient workspace

Requirements

  • 5+ years of aerospace flight hardware assembly, integration, and testing experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and shop floor management software
  • Experience with calibrated tools (multi-meters, calipers, torque wrenches, etc.)
  • Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and work extended hours or weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret GD&T
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and electromechanical systems
  • Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Ability to obtain or hold top secret/SCI security clearance
