About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design flight software, algorithms, and simulation products
  • Develop spacecraft autonomy tools for constellation management
  • Perform GNC component selection and subsystem design
  • Develop and execute test processes
  • Define fault detection and response protocols
  • Conduct hardware-in-the-loop and Monte Carlo simulations
  • Integrate flight and simulation software with analysis and operations tools
  • Support internal and external design reviews
  • Coordinate with global teams in California and New Zealand

Requirements

  • BS degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in GNC/ADCS
  • Experience interfacing with aerospace customers in commercial or government sectors
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • For Level II: 2+ years of industry experience in GNC/ADCS

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or PhD degree
  • Active DoD US Government Secret Security Clearance
  • 2+ years of RPOD design and operations experience
  • Experience with Jira planning and workflow
  • Hands-on experience with IMU, reaction wheels, star trackers, and gyroscopes
  • Experience developing blended attitude solutions from sensor data
  • Experience with spacecraft on-orbit operations and anomaly resolution
