About the role
Responsibilities
- Fabricate wire harnesses from assembly drawings and electrical schematics
- Assemble electromechanical assemblies and assist engineering with production processes
- Follow work instructions and document work through MES systems
- Route harnesses and support integration of assemblies on Mega-class satellites
- Support production transition from development to full rate production
- Provide process improvement feedback to engineering and leadership
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in cable harness fabrication, assembly, or integration
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably aerospace or electronics
- Proficiency in MS Office and shop floor management software
- Experience with crimping, wire stripping, continuity testing, and connector pin outs
- Experience using digital multimeters, calipers, and micrometers
- Familiarity with ERP and part traceability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 certification
- Hand soldering and PCB rework experience
- Ability to read and redline electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with potting and encapsulation techniques
