About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop avionics systems and electrical components for satellite systems
- Develop and implement electrical system architectures, power distribution, and communication interfaces
- Design electrical boards and PCBs, including component placement and signal routing
- Conduct research to select suitable electronic components like sensors, transmitters, and processors
- Define and execute test plans to validate avionics and electrical systems performance
- Troubleshoot electrical and avionics system issues during development and testing
- Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software engineers for subsystem integration
Requirements
- U.S. Person status required for export controlled data access
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in avionics and electrical engineering
- Proficiency in designing avionics systems, electrical circuits, and subsystems
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and EMC
- Experience with eCAD software (Altium), circuit simulation (LTSpice), and PCB design tools
- Ability to debug complex problems using Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Spectrum Analyzers
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in engineering fields
- Experience specifically within the aerospace or satellite industry
