Space Systems Analyst, Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis to assess, document, and communicate warfighter dependencies on space architectures and operations.
• Interface with DAF, USSF, and USSF Field Command technical experts and staffs.
• Examine future warfighting concepts and mission areas to assess and document interdependencies.
• Articulate technical space system design recommendations and trade space decisions based on warfighting impact.
• Support high-visibility space-based capability studies and respond to quick-turnaround technical taskers.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to represent Force Designs to Space Force, DoD, and Congressional leadership.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (or willingness to undergo polygraph).
• STEM Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of experience in space operations or space acquisition.
• Proven experience with satellite communication systems, satellite navigation systems, and/or satellite ground infrastructure.
• Experience in space design or architecture development.
• Knowledge of DoD, IC, and commercial satellite systems.
• Experience working within SCI/SAP environments.
• Strong technical, written, and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• STEM Master’s degree.
• 4+ years of experience in Joint operational planning, integration, or requirements development.
• 5+ years of commercial or civil space experience.
• Previous experience in a US Government staff position.
