About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage corporate events and meetings of various sizes across the MMS campus
- Coordinate event details including furniture setup, room availability, food service, and guest lists
- Assist with occupancy initiatives, including space planning, work team layouts, and office configurations
- Maintain accurate facility and occupancy data for the Mobile manufacturing facility and offsite locations
- Manage vendor relationships, process invoices, and oversee event-related budget spending
- Develop workplace solutions to manage headcount growth, departmental reorganizations, and new workplace concepts
- Perform complex analysis and forecasting for space planning and headcount projections
- Act as a project lead for furniture test-fits and large-scale occupancy migration projects
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in space planning, facility management, or tenant occupancy programming
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning or coordination
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (Preferred)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and logistical planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting related to facility services
