Spa Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of treatments including facials, massages, body treatments, and advanced beauty therapies
• Assess guests’ needs and customise treatments based on preferences and skincare requirements
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the spa and treatment rooms
• Maintain product knowledge and recommend appropriate products to guests
• Assist with reception duties including guest check-ins, scheduling, and payments
• Handle calls, emails, and bookings professionally
• Coordinate with fellow therapists to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience
• Ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Accredited two-year national or international certificate or diploma in beauty therapy
• At least three years’ practical experience in a professional beauty salon or spa
• Previous experience in reception or front office, preferably in hospitality
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of booking systems
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English
• Availability to work hospitality hours including weekends and public holidays
• Professional appearance and a positive, reliable attitude
