About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily spa operations including staff scheduling and inventory management
- Develop strategies to attract and retain guests through spa packages and special offers
- Ensure all treatments and services meet highest quality and professionalism standards
- Monitor guest feedback to continuously improve the spa experience
- Train, motivate, and coach spa staff
- Collaborate with other resort departments for a seamless guest experience
- Manage the spa budget and analyze financial reports
- Stay updated with industry trends and implement new concepts
- Handle guest complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contribute to resort sustainability initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Proven experience as a Spa Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of spa treatments and products
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred
- Spa Therapist certification or wellness-related certification is an advantage
- Hands-on experience in massage, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and face/body therapies
- Diploma in Hospitality or other relevant fields
