SOX Business Process Audit Assurance & Advisory Services Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Process SOX 404 testing program to support the integrity of the internal control environment.
• Develop and manage the SOX Business Process controls testing plan, coordinating scope and timing with leadership, the Controller’s organization, and External Audit.
• Identify, evaluate, and document control deficiencies, working with control owners to establish remediation plans.
• Execute and oversee testing activities, including walkthroughs, design and operating effectiveness testing, and sampling.
• Provide regular status updates, issue tracking, and progress reports to key stakeholders.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the SOX testing program, including automation and analytics.
• Lead and coach assigned SOX testing staff and co-sourced resources, ensuring adherence to methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, Data Analytics, or Business.
• 5 years of relevant experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk, or IT/Financial/Operational Audit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CPA, CISM, CRISC, or CFE.
• Previous SOX experience, specifically regarding Business Process Controls and critical spreadsheets.
• Experience leading projects or teams.
• Master's degree in a related field.
