About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in food preparation and menu concept creation
- Manage additional staff and maintain kitchen/dining room cleanliness
- Enforce sanitation and food safety standards per regulations
Requirements
- Understanding of food handling, preparation, and cooking procedures
- Ability to work well as part of a team under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of food service or related experience
- Experience with bulk food prep in a commercial kitchen
- Valid food safety handler and sanitation certification
