About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and monitor the quality of all dishes produced
- Monitor consumption and maximize the capacity of resources and equipment
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and strict adherence to hygiene and health and safety standards
- Coach, motivate, and evaluate kitchen staff through on-the-job training and refresher courses
- Address guest requests and handle complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Perform duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and participate in company recycling programs
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a 5-star Western kitchen
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent product knowledge of international cuisine and supply pricing
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and daily operations
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts according to business demand
