Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the kitchen department to ensure high-level guest dining experiences
• Work as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction and resolve enquiries promptly
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and tasks in a timely and professional manner
• Deliver on departmental plans, initiatives, and targets
• Collaborate with management to control costs, inventory, productivity, and performance levels
• Build and maintain effective working relationships while promoting company culture
• Ensure adherence and compliance with all legislation, due diligence, and best practice activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for hospitality
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of tasks
• Personal integrity and ability to work in a high-excellence environment
• Experience working with various IT systems
