Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the kitchen department to ensure high-level guest dining experiences.
• Work collaboratively within a team to maximize guest satisfaction and resolve enquiries promptly.
• Take full responsibility for assigned culinary duties and tasks in a professional and timely manner.
• Deliver on departmental plans and objectives to achieve hotel targets and initiatives.
• Collaborate with management to control costs, inventory, productivity, and performance levels.
• Maintain effective working relationships while promoting company culture and values.
• Ensure strict adherence to all legislation, due diligence, and best practice activities for audit compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and work effectively with others.
• A hands-on approach with a proactive, "can-do" work style.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Proficiency in using various IT systems and platforms.
