Sous Chef - Peruvian Specialty

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen operations and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality authentic Peruvian dishes
• Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and buffet menus according to hotel standards
• Conduct daily shift briefings and ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations
• Maintain and enhance food products through creative menu development and presentation
• Liaise daily with Outlet Managers regarding guest feedback and service quality
• Manage proper staffing and scheduling in accordance with productivity guidelines
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling policies

Requirements

• Extensive background and expertise in authentic Peruvian cuisine
• Deep knowledge of Peruvian ingredients and traditional cooking techniques
• Experience working with Opera or other related hospitality systems
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a high-volume hotel or luxury culinary environment
• Proficiency in additional languages
