Experimental is a hospitality group that redefines luxury through innovative cocktail bars and charming hotels across Europe and beyond, including locations in Paris, London, Rome, and New York. The Experimental Chalet Val d'Isère is a new 4-star winter paradise in the French Alps featuring 113 rooms, two restaurants, a cocktail bar, and a spa.
Responsibilities
- Perform culinary production following directives from the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef
- Supervise dish preparation and systematically verify quality
- Coordinate between the kitchen, dishwashing, and various dining outlets
- Participate in menu development
- Ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and the dining room staff
- Maintain kitchen operations and propose improvements
- Guarantee cost control and strict adherence to HACCP hygiene and safety standards
- Manage equipment maintenance and premises cleanliness
- Manage stocks, ensure proper supplies, and conduct inventories
- Replace the Pastry Chef in their absence
Requirements
- Degree in hospitality or catering
- Significant experience in a similar role or as a First Chef de Partie
- Ability to motivate and lead a brigade
- Strong organizational and initiative-taking skills
- Excellent customer service and hospitality sense
- Autonomous and adaptable
