About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness and organization standards
- Foster positive relationships with cooks, Chefs, and Front of House teams
- Communicate upcoming menus, features, and events to the team
- Manage ordering and inventory
- Coach, train, and develop cooks and co-op students
- Participate in à la carte service and special events
- Solve problems and resolve conflicts to maintain a collaborative culture
Requirements
- 2–3 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong knowledge of professional cooking methods and knife skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Full availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or degree
