About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor kitchen operations and cleanliness
- Manage ordering and inventory
- Mentor and coach junior cooks and co-op students
- Communicate upcoming menus and events to the team
- Maintain positive relationships with FOH teams and company colleagues
- Execute recipe creation and high-quality cooking
Requirements
- 2-3 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced, high-performing restaurant
- Proficient in professional cooking and knife handling skills
- Ability to stand for 100% of the shift
- Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or degree
