Responsibilities
- Lead by example to create an inspiring, professional, and inclusive kitchen culture
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house teams for seamless guest experiences
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving procedures for cost control and quality
- Support team development including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Utilize conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to maintain a positive environment
Requirements
- Previous Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in a similar environment
- Passion for food and culinary excellence
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
