About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef De Cuisine in leading, managing, and organizing all culinary requirements to the highest standards.
- Ensure all kitchen operations are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures implemented by the Director of Culinary.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and presentation to exceed guest expectations.
- Manage kitchen staff and workflows to ensure seamless service in a high-pressure, luxury environment.
- Contribute to the creation of joy for guests through culinary creativity, precision, and warmth.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef within the upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels.
- Strong culinary knowledge and expertise in French cuisine.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in an additional language is highly regarded.
- Experience working within Michelin-starred or high-end fine dining establishments.
