About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations for the in-room dining department
- Monitor consumption and maximize the capacity of resources and equipment
- Create weekly executive set lunch, monthly, promotional, and seasonal menus in cooperation with the Executive Chef
- Address guest requests and handle complaints promptly and to their satisfaction
- Provide feedback on guest recommendations and share ideas with staff and management
- Oversee people management and staff training
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct
- Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment and avoid hazards
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and daily operations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and management
- High attention to detail regarding cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to business demands
