About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily culinary operations and ensure quality standards
- Participate in food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Lead, train, and support kitchen staff and cooks
- Contribute to menu development and recipe creation
- Manage inventory, orders, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food sanitation standards
Requirements
- Culinary diploma or certificate
- Minimum 7 years of experience in luxury hotel or convention center kitchens
- Previous experience as a Sous-Chef is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in French (reading, writing, and speaking)
