About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues and conducting shift briefings
- Ensure consistency in food preparation by following hotel recipes and standards
- Enhance food products through menu development and presentation
- Balance operational, administrative, and staffing needs including scheduling and coaching
- Manage inventory and ordering through Birchstreet and oversee labor productivity
- Handle disciplinary actions and assign daily workloads
Requirements
- Red Seal Journeyperson Cook Certification or international equivalency
- OR completion of Rouxbe Culinary Foundations level 1 & 2 with >90% grade and 54 months experience
- 3-4 years of culinary supervisory or leadership experience
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to lift, carry, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts
