Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, costing, and inventory control
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely service delivery
• Monitor stock levels and oversee proper storage and rotation of ingredients
• Support the development of new dishes and seasonal menu updates

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of international cuisine and modern cooking techniques
• Ability to manage a high-volume kitchen efficiently
• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred
• Locally available in the UAE with a transferable visa
