Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef
• Oversee station production and maintain cleanliness in line with company policies
• Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, focusing on presentation and taste
• Collaborate with the team and coach junior chefs to support their professional development
• Assist the Head Chef in menu development and recipe innovation
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar culinary role
• Experience in a 2 Rosette plus environment is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure fine dining environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Positive communication and teamwork abilities
