Responsibilities
- Support the Chef in delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team to foster a positive, efficient work environment
- Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
- Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and record-keeping while minimizing waste
- Assist with training, coaching, and developing kitchen team members
- Help identify and hire great culinary talent
Requirements
- 5 years of culinary experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory kitchen role
- Food Safety and WHMIS certification
- Knowledge of kitchen training best practices and SOPs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Flexible schedule availability
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
